Geomembrane is a geosynthetic material designed for full or partial waterproofing. This material:

  • Resistant to decay;
  • Resistant to corrosion, high and low temperatures, their sharp fluctuations;
  • Characterized by high tensile and stretching;
  • Completely environmentally friendly;
  • Resistant to aggressive chemicals.

Due to these properties, this geomembrane is widely used to provide waterproofing of roofs, the bottom of artificial and natural reservoirs, soil protection, in arranging terraces, solid waste landfills, etc. In general, wherever reliable waterproofing is required that can survive for a long period of time.

It is also worth noting that the cost of the material is reasonable and pays off due to durability.

Types of geomembrane

High-density polyethylene HDPE (HDPE Geomembrane)is characterized by increased strength and resistance to aggressive chemicals, which allows the use of HDPE geomembrane on a flat large area: landfills for household and industrial waste (solid and liquid), protecting surfaces from any material, and building tanks for drinking water and so on.

Low density polyethylene LLDPE (LLDPE Geomembrane) - has greater elasticity, remaining even at very low temperatures, and is used for construction on weak bases and subsiding soils, in areas of seismic activity, as well as for waterproofing underground objects.
